Grails Developer for Hire (sort of)

I have been working for G2One and SpringSource for over a year now, but I am now available on contract to do Grails work. I’m still planning on working on some side projects, including GrailsUI and the Plugin Portal, and I’m also working on some screencasts and articles.

Hire Me.

– Edit –

I just added “(sort of)” to the title of this blog post. The problem is that I need to buy a house and move my family this year, and it turns out I cannot get a loan in the US while being self-employed without having worked for at least 2 years at it. Although I think it was going to work out pretty well, I am now forced to pick up a 12-month contract position through a local agency to satisfy the requirements of my mortgage lender.

This means that I’m no longer able to pick up any full-time contracts, and I’m truly sorry to those potential clients that I have already started talking to. I hope that I can still be of some service possibly in a part-time role as a mentor or guide.
